NABA Eugene-Springfield's New Guide:
Finding Lane County Butterflies

In May 2004, NABA-ES released its second field guide for Lane County.

The new guide to Finding Lane County Butterflies, written by NABA-ES President Neil Björklund, is believed to be the first guide of its kind in the U.S.: a regional guide to finding butterflies at specific sites in the field. It is available for purchase at NABA events for $13. All proceeds benefit NABA-ES. The Guide should be available in Eugene at The Book Mark, Down to Earth, and the U of O Bookstore. It should also be available in Portland at the Portland Audubon Society Store, in Corvallis at the OSU Bookstore, and in Cottage Grove at the Bookmine. Measuring just 5.5" x 8.5", these 100 pages will tell you almost everything you need to find and watch all of the 78 species of butterflies described in the companion Pocket Guide to Butterflies of Lane County.
