It is also an inviting place for daily visitors to enjoy the refreshing shade. 20' wide by 40' long it has a 30' X 40' wooden deck and wheelchair ramp. Native Sabal Palm leaves thatch the roof over a structure of heavy treated timbers. Life expectancy is 30+ years, with occasional repairs to thatching after major storms.
