Finding the Butterfly Park.
West of Mission, from Business or Expressway 83, turn south on Bentsen-Palm Drive. When you reach the entrance to Bentsen Rio Grande State Park and the headquarters for the World Birding Center turn left (east) on "old" Military Road (unmarked). Drive one mile and turn right (south) on Butterfly Park Drive, a caliche road. Do not cross the canal and levee, instead turn left and follow the caliche lane to the Woodland Edge Garden, NABA's initial garden.
