- - - - - - to all who contributed to NABA's fund-drive. We successfully raised the $500,000 needed to leverage the donation of an 85 acre site along the Rio Grande and the Texas/Mexican border in 2002. These funds will support initial development and operation, as well as further planning.

Additional land was added at the end of 2004 to bring the site up to approximately 100 acres. This land acquisition was a made possible by a combination of a purchase funded by $100,000 from the Brown Foundation, $100,000 from the Mission Economic Development Corporation, and a donation from the land owner, Rhodes Enterprises. The generosity of these supporters is greatfully acknowledged, along with the early support by the additional major sponsors listed below.
