Butterfly Park in Development

Situated on the Rio Grande and the border between Texas and Mexico, NABA International Butterfly Park will be the only facility of it kind in the world.

Unlike the butterfly conservatories that have been built across the U.S., NABA's Butterfly Park will be entirely out-of-doors, except for compelling high-tech educational exhibits in the Visitors' Center.

NABA International Butterfly Park will showcase thousands of wild butterflies. These native butterflies, of more than a hundred species, will be at the Park because the creation of intensive gardens of native plants will allow populations of these butterflies to thrive.

Coordinates for the site are:
North 26 degrees, 10.593 minutes.
West 98 degrees, 21.942 minutes.

Elevation above sea level ranges from: 109.5 feet at the river to 128 feet at the Woodland Edge Garden.
