Rio Grande Prix of Butterflies

How to Compete

Teams may compete any two days between Sunday, October 16 and Thursday October 20, 2005 in
the Rio Grande Valley of Texas
and/or Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

These are the days leading up to The Texas Butterfly Festival sponsored by the Mission Chamber of Commerce.

International Competitors must
compete in both countries.

Have fun by competing in an exciting team contest, and add new species to your life list. Your efforts will benefit NABA International Butterfly Park
in Mission, Texas and/or Parque Chipinque
near Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Over 300 butterfly species have been seen in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, about 40% of the total for the entire U.S. The area around Monterrey boasts over 370 species.
