Butterfly Checklists to Download
Researched and designed by Jeannie and Jim Moe, with input from Jim Ziebol, these two new checklists are downloadable as either Excel or PDF files. Files are available below:
- Checklist 1 (Short format)
- Lists all butterfly species on one page, with a key for frequency (common, uncommon, rare and casual). Number of individuals can be recorded.
- Excel format (25K)
- PDF format (57K)
- Checklist 2 (Long format)
- Lists butterflies on two pages, with the added feature of an abundance chart. The shaded months (Jan-Dec) show when each species can be seen:

- PDF format (64K)
Both of these checklists are arranged in taxonomic order and are excellent tools for recording your butterfly sightings on your next field outing!
