Happy New Year! What does a caterpillar do on New Years Day? Turns over a new leaf! In this issue: 1) NABA Holiday Party – Jan. 28, 2007 1. NABA HOLIDAY PARTY, Sun. Jan. 28, 2007. From 1:30 to approximately 4:00 p.m., NABA-St. Louis's holiday party will be held at Washington University's Tyson Research Center. This event will be a potluck affair, so please bring your favorite food dish. A special "Powerpoint" slideshow of our members' best butterfly/outing photos of 2006 will be presented, along with some good food. The butterfly Powerpoint program will begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. Please send your butterfly photos to Kate Boden at: khbATaccessus.net DIRECTIONS to Tyson Research Center: From the junction of I-44 and I-270, go west on I-44 about 7 miles to the Antire Rd/Beaumont exit (exit #269). The entrance gate to Tyson is about 100 yards past the exit ramp stop sign on the right (north side of I-44). At the entry gate or Gatehouse please sign in or check in with the Gate Attendant, and then proceed down the road to the Tyson Headquarters Office for our party. See you there! 2. BUTTERFLY WALKS & COUNTS COMING IN 2007 by Jim Ziebol The following are scheduled for 2007: Sun. Apr. 15 – Count at Busch C. A. Meet at the Jim Ziebol Garden 10:00 a.m. Other walks will be scheduled on a monthly or bimonthly basis. 3. NABA-ST.
