THE STATE BUTTERFLY OF ARIZONA
TWO-TAILED SWALLOWTAIL (Papilio multicaudata)
Photographed on Mt. Graham by H. Brodkin

SEABA is a local Arizona chapter of the NORTH AMERICAN BUTTERFLY ASSOCIATION (NABA) which covers primarily Pima, Santa Cruz, Cochise, and southern Graham counties, though we have also have members from many other states. Both SEABA and NABA were formed to promote enjoyment, knowledge, and conservation of butterflies through identification, photography, butterfly gardening, and outreach to local schools and the public.

We are fortunate enough to live in one of the prime butterflying locales in the USA. You do not have to be an expert to join! Our members run the gamut from beginners to professionals. Activities include frequent field trips (spring through fall) and monthly meetings (January to May and September to November) at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. We also publish an informative monthly newsletter full of pictures and articles.

Mailing address: SEABA, PO BOX 1012, HEREFORD, AZ 85615.
