Tree Planting at Norma Gibbs Butterfly Park
On Saturday April 19th, 2008 at Norma Gibbs Butterfly Park in Huntington Beach, a joint effott Arbor Day Tree Planting took place to bring the park back to the butterflies. Thanks to the efforts from the Huntington Beach Tree Society, Public Works and Leslie Gilson, this park was restored. More than 100 people were at the event including scout troops, Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook, former mayor and guest of honor Norma Gibbs.

Meetings are at 7:00 pm in the Irvine Ranch Water District offices at 15600 Sand Canyon in Irvine, California. (meetings are held in one of the conference rooms located on the lower level west wing)
The meetings are open to anyone and everyone interested in butterflies.

NABA 4th of July Butterfly Counts are conducted annually to census butterflies of North America. All are welcome to participate.
