July 12--Twinsburg Count & Insect Day. Counters meet at 10 am at the Twinsburg bike path. (Parking lot behind Dodge School off of Ravenna Rd. will be the meeting/starting point). Follow as many of the trails through the park as you wish. The Mitigation Pond is off of Rte. 91 N. Pull into the parking area just north of the Community Gardens and walk back to the mitigation pond or the meadows across the RR tracks. CIT representative is Todd Eiben.
July 13--Wolf Creek Count. Counters meet at the Wolf Creek (Medina Co.) Environmental Center 10:00 am. If you are coming south on I-71 (from Cleveland), exit at Rt. 18 and go east until you hit Rt. 94. Wolf Creek is on Rt. 94 approximately 1- 2 mi. south of the intersection with Rt. 18. The sign for the Wolf Creek Environmental Education Center will be on your right. There will be a long, winding road to the nature center. CIT representatives: Todd Eiben and Larry Rosche.
July 20--Quail Hollow Count . Counters meet at Quail Hollow State Park (Hartville, Stark Co.) in parking lot behind Carriage House at 10:00 am. Parking will be available in the Spruce Grove lot, as noted by the signs. If taking I - 77, exit at the Rte. 241- Massillon Rd. exit. Take 619 east through Uniontown and into Hartville and follow the brown park signs for Quail Hollow State Park. CIT representative is Jerry Weidmann.
