NABA Northern Crescents Meeting Notes
May 13, 2009
With 8 members and all 4 officers in attendance, the Summer Schedule & Events were discussed:
1) Monitoring- Gail still plans to do the monarch monitoring on the Knowlton site, but asks that anyone call her if they’d like to help. This saves her time and trouble of opening gates with no one showing up. Those interested can call her at 218-624-3721 or email her at fggilliland @ charter.net. This information will also be posted on the website and sent to our mailing list.
2) Counts-Schedule
As we know it with dates, locations, and count leaders. Changes will be made as we know of them.

3) Special Events
Duluth Women’s Club Garden tour will include the Benedictine Garden July 15.
Donna and Jeannie reported on BHC Garden. They will plant some annuals to give additional color to the garden in preparation for the tour. Some of the painted rocks used to identify plants for visitors need to be repainted.
Garden Meander in Bonovetz’s Gardens is scheduled for Aug. 4, 5, or 6, depending on weather. A potluck will follow at the BHC Gardens, if allowed by BHC.
