NABA Northern Crescents Meeting Minutes
Tuesday May 11, 2006
1. Final assignments were reviewed for the Karen Oberhauser’s visit on May 9 at Ordean School. Displays and vendors start at 6:30p.m. Karen speaks at 7 p.m.
Reminders:
A. Jim S. will do a power point of Muriel’s Garden at Benedictine
Center. Mary, Pat S., Jim S, and Wally will help with registration.
All people will pay at the door. Cost is $5 family, $1 students, $3
individuals.
Mary will take brochures to Hartley Nature Center. Donna will mail fliers to garden club presidents and master gardeners. Pat will post fliers at coffee shops. Entry point for presentation will be on 40th street near flagpole. Convenient parking will be on 40th.
Donna will get a butterfly balloon to hang at outside entrance.
We will have a sign up sheet at the NABA table for those interested in joining or in obtaining further information.
Tables we’ll have at Ordean:
NABA table or 2 tables will have:
Benedictine Garden display, NABA brochures and display board, plant lists, sign up sheet for monthly mailings. Jim P. will have butterfly information and talk about butterfly walks, etc.

Pat T. contacted Ch. 6 and John Myers from the Duluth News Tribune
Pat T. will contact Larry Weber and possibly get something put in the daily planner and gardening section of local papers.
