Occurrence   Berkshire and Franklin Counties - resident
Abundance Rare to locally very uncommon; maximum 29
Flight Period May 15 - August 7 (mainly late May to June)
Notes Formerly considered the rarest eastern butterfly by many lepidopterists.
Overwintering Possibly Pupa
