Pocket Guide to
Butterflies of Lane County

In June 2005, NABA-ES published the Third Edition of our popular pocket-sized field guide.

The new, third edition features eight additional butterfly species and more than 70 new photos! The Pocket Guide, created and compiled by NABA-ES member Marta Makarushka, is available at NABA events for $16 each. Proceeds benefit NABA-ES. The Pocket Guide is also available in Eugene at The Book Mark, Down to Earth, and the U of O Bookstore, and in Portland at the Portland Audubon Society Store. Measuring just 5.5" x 4.25", its 95 pages are chock-full of information on 78 species of butterflies commonly found in Lane County, Oregon, as well as throughout the southern Willamette Valley.
