Group 1: This group did the driving/walking route that starts on Forest Service Road 15 near Blue River Reservoir, proceeds past Mann Creek and Wolf Meadows, then turns onto Roads 2650 (Frissell Ridge) and 1506, passing through the H. J. Andrews Experimentral Forest.
Time spent: 7.75 hrs: 9:40 am - 5:30 pm
Weather: 70 - 80° F, full sun, wind 0 - 5 mph

The members of Group 1 were Rick Ahrens, Alison Center (co-leader and recorder), Linda Gilbert, Lori Humphreys (co-leader), Ellie Ryan, and Cynthia Stockwell.

Group 2: Starting from the trailhead at the end of Forest Service Road 35, this group hiked to the peak of Iron Mountain, then hiked to the meadow between Iron Mountain and Cone Peak, and returned.
Time spent: 6.25 hrs: 10:15 am - 4:30 pm
Weather: 65 - 75° F, full sun, wind 0 - 5 mph
