* Group 1: This group did the driving/walking route that starts on Forest Service Road 15 near Blue River Reservoir, proceeds past Mann Creek and Wolf Meadows, then turns onto Roads 2650 (Frissell Ridge) and 1506, passing through the H. J. Andrews Experimentral Forest.
Time spent: 6 hrs: 10:15 am - 4:15 pm
Weather: 63 - 86° F, full sun, wind 0 mph

The members of Group 1 were Ellie Ryan (leader), John Egan, Alison Center (recorder), Jo Von Hippel, Rick Ahrens, Zenia Liebman, Yvonne Parkinson, Vivian Friendly, James Wilkenson.

** Group 2: This group began by looking for Johnson's Hairstreaks at the bottom of Forest Service Road 35, and then, starting from the trailhead at the end of Road 35, hiked to the peak of Iron Mountain. On the way down some members hiked to the meadow between Iron Mountain and Cone Peak.
Time spent: 5 hrs: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Weather: 75 - 85° F, full sun, wind 0 - 5 mph
